2011 “Living Pink Through Fashion” Calendar – Now available for purchase to benefit Breast Cancer.

The 2011 “Living Pink Through Fashion” Calendar is chock full of fun themes and fabulous Canadian models that take fighting Breast Cancer seriously and to a new level!!!
* Pink clothing is provided by various designers.
* Karen Smith of Beauty in Motion did much of the hair & make up for the models.
* Kimberly Edwards styled much of the calendar and provided her jewelry line designs from “K, Turn Around” Jewelry.
* Sue Ore of Oh Shoot! helped with the calendar designs.
* Various photographers submitted their photos from their fabulously choreographed photo shoots with local models.
Some of the Amazing Models that will grace the pages of your calendar are:
Kimberly Edwards: Kimberly is an International Model & Actress, Creative Director, Wardrobe Stylist, Jewelry Designer, Web Chef, Entrepreneur & Writer.
Kimberly’s mother is a 4 1/2 year Breast Cancer Survivor, and has affected numerous aunts and cousins on both sides of her family. She also lost her father to a rare form of cancer.
Her jewelry line, “K, Turn Around” Jewelry, will be featured in the calendar, on the runway at the fashion show, as well as being available for purchase at the event. Kimberly styled the calendar and the models on the runway. Kimberly is launching her clothing line on January 1st, 2011. Kimbery’s birth month is July!

T. West: T. West is a beautiful and versatile model from the Niagara Region. She is in the calendar for the month of September.
She actually had Hodgkins lymphoma – a large tumor in her chest. Going through chemo and radiation for it, and because of the radiation on her chest, T.’s breast cancer risk went up. As soon as her cancer went into remission, T.’s mother told her that her breast cancer had come back and she passed away one year later. T.’s mom battled it on and off for 6 years and it was very devastating to watch her go through this for this model.
Together with her family background with breast cancer, and the radiation she underwent, T. West has a higher risk for breast cancer than most. She had developed new breast lumps over the years, which resulted in panic and many tests. The tests came back clear, but the stress of wondering not if she would get breast cancer but when she might get it is very difficult to deal with.
Finally, T. chose to make the decision early to save my life and have a double masectomy followed later with breast reconstruction. It was a very long, painful process, but the stress and worry is gone now and she can finally just move foward and be very thankful for life. We want to personally thank T. West for sharing her story!!!

Rachael H.: Rachael is an outgoing, sincere model, who has a passion for life. She’s had experience in shoot work and music videos. Rachael’s photo is in the month of November.

Ashley Hurst: Miss May is an aspiring model, Ashley hopes to enrich her knowledge about the industry and continue heightening her skill level. Ashley is a 2x Graduate of Niagara College. At the tender age of 20, Ashley has only begun to stick her toes in the water.

Amber Leigh: Amazing new-comer model who is taking the modeling world by storm with her high fashion look and sassy attitude, as well as the month of June in the calendar!

Lindsay H.: This may have been one of Lindsay’s first photoshoots, but she seemed to rock her attitude and have a great time! We are glad she wanted to be a part of this effort in the month of October.
Hollie Dunkley: Hollie is a fantastic alternative model, writer and singer. She is also the proud designer of Replay Bags being shown at the “Living Pink Through Fashion” Show. Hollie is an October girl in the calendar.
